Open Day training sessions for academic and professional advising staff

Open Day is our biggest recruitment event of the year and research shows it is our greatest opportunity to engage and influence prospective students to choose Macquarie.

The Future Students team appreciate the time and commitment of Macquarie staff in promoting the University to potential students and their parents on the day and throughout the year. To assist staff who will be advising at this year’s Open Day, and in light of the University’s new brand campaign, training sessions have been arranged for staff who would like to learn more about:

  • communicating in the new brand language;
  • unique points of difference (why choose Macquarie); and
  • communicating to prospective students with influence.

An external specialist, Stewart Gillies from Red Sky (a leadership development and communication consultancy)  will present on these topics. The sessions are being run for 90 minutes on two alternative dates to allow you to choose a session that suits you best.

Please join us by registering your interest to the session you’d like to attend. You will only need to attend one session.
