Call for submissions – Optus Future Makers program

Are you a Future Maker?

As part of the 2018 Optus Future Makers Program, in collaboration with Macquarie Park Innovation District (MPID), the University is encouraging staff with social impact start-ups or who are using technology to address social issues to apply for the program.

Successful applicants that address MPID’s Social Innovation focus areas (affordable housing and social isolation) will be eligible to access support from the MPID network including mentorship, resources in-kind and possible funding.

About Optus Future Makers

Optus Future Makers is a capacity-building and accelerator program that empowers innovators who use technology to address social challenges for vulnerable people. In 2018, the program is seeking innovative solutions that already have a working prototype in the following focus areas: employability; education; health; and empowering women and girls.
