Prestigious Australian Academy of the Humanities appointment for three of our Arts and Human Sciences academic staff

Three Macquarie academic staff are among 23 new national appointments to be newly elected as Fellows to the Australian Academy of the Humanities – the highest honour for achievement in the humanities in Australia.

Congratulations to:

  • Professor Neil Levy – Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts
  • Professor Marion Maddox – Department of Modern History, Politics and International Relations, Faculty of Arts
  • Professor Ingrid Piller – Department of Linguistics, Faculty of Human Sciences

Fellows to the Academy represent leaders in their field, and the election is recognition of their continued outstanding scholarship and practice in their relevant humanities disciplines.
