Be a part of our Access and Inclusion Plan

The Workplace Equity and Diversity Unit is encouraging staff with disability, their friends, family and carers to be a part of the staff focus groups to support the development of the University’s next disability action plan – Access and Inclusion Plan 2018-2020.

Two one-hour focus groups will be held for staff, with participants asked to share their stories, views and needs to assist in the development of a comprehensive Plan that meets a wide range of requirements.

It is important to engage in consultation with both students and staff to inform the development, monitoring and implementation of the Plan. Feedback from the focus groups will directly inform the development of strategies and actions to building a more inclusive University. This consultation is designed to work with a person driven framework and represent the needs of staff, students and visitors living with disability.

The focus groups will provide pivotal insights and comment which will be integrated into the Plan’s core outcomes.

Register here for the two focus groups:

Tuesday 7 November 2017, 9.30am

Thursday 9 November 2017, 11am
