The Faculty of Science and Engineering has recently revitalised its professional structure across its 10 departments.

As such, eight departments now have a Department Manager heading up dedicated administrative teams, with Mathematics and Statistics sharing both a manager and a team. Department administration roles are now more clearly defined with more professional support staff in each team.

The Faculty has moved to a common team structure with five standard positions including in the areas of finance, people management, outreach, student administration and academic administrative support.

The new structure aims to allow the Faculty’s Heads of Department and other academics to focus on strategic and academic activities.

The new teams will ensure that the Faculty of Science and Engineering can maintain consistency by aligning and streamlining administrative processes Faculty-wide.
