Have you experienced low back pain in the last 12 months?

Low back pain is a common condition. About 80 per cent of Australians experience low back pain at some point in their lifetime. We know it can impact not only on their ability to work or continue day to day activities, but also how they feel, and their enjoyment of life.

Adults (18 years or older) who have experienced at least one episode of low back pain in the last 12 months are being asked to volunteer to complete an online survey for research.

Participants will volunteer to complete a 5-10 minute online survey on their experiences of treatment for low back pain. This is an anonymous and voluntary survey and the results will be published in a PhD thesis.

The information the audience will provide will be useful for designing a new treatment program for low back pain that is better tailored to what patients are seeking from health care.
