Echo360’s upgraded software, Active Learning Platform, is replacing the old Echo360 lecture recording system – are you ready for Session 2?
While the new system will automatically record scheduled lectures as before, there is information teaching staff and L&T support staff need to familiarise themselves with before Session begins.
New features include live streaming capabilities, interactive functions and analytics, which have the capacity to enhance student engagement, make classes more active and participatory, and give teachers better insight into how their subject matter content is being received by the class.
Next Steps
- Prior to the start of Session, convenors will need to change the iLearn Echo360 block to the Echo360 Active Learning Platform block. If you have not yet done so, click here for instructions.
- Before Session begins, teaching staff are encouraged to attend a workshop (on either 26 July or 9 August) introducing them to the new Active Learning Platform features and demonstrating how to embed these tools into teaching practice.
- A Drop In Clinic will be running 17 July – 4 August. Faculty learning designers and LIH support staff will be on hand to answer questions you may have about the new features.
