Submit your application for academic promotion by 1 August

Academic staff considering applying for promotion this year are invited to submit their application by 5pm AEST on 1 August. 

To submit your application for promotion, follow these steps:

  1. Review the new Academic Promotion Policy, Procedure and Criteria and prepare your application.
  2. Consult with your HoD.
  3. Obtain consent of your referees to provide references before nominating them in the application.
  4. Complete your application using the standard forms.
  5. Email your completed Application for Promotion (including Case for Promotion, CV and Head of Department Report) to academicpromotions@mq.edu.au by 5pm AEST on 1 August 2017.

To assist with your promotion application, Research Librarians are conducting an information session on ways of measuring research output, research impact, media coverage and engagement. This session will be held on Monday 10 July from 1-2pm in the Library. RSVP to jo.hardy@mq.edu.au.
