Heaps good!! Survey on Australian English

Participants wanted for ten-minute online survey on how Australians use slang such as “heaps” and “loads” when talking to friends and colleagues.

As part of a PhD project in Linguistics that investigates how Australians use informal language in contrast to other speakers of English, this online survey takes a closer look at how expressions such as “a lot” and “heaps” are used in conversations involving friends, elderly relatives, superiors, teachers and strangers.

Speakers of Australian English of all age groups and walks of life are welcome to participate in this survey.

Native (-like) speakers of other English dialects (American, British, New Zealand, etc) are invited to participate in a parallel survey.

Thanks heaps for your help!
