You had “Your Say” – Now what?

your-say

Across the University, action plans based on feedback from the “Your Say” staff survey have been finalised for faculties and offices and local areas are working on their priorities.

The survey has provided a clear snapshot as to what our staff believe is working well at Macquarie and what needs to be improved for the University to achieve its ambitious goals.

Over the past few months, staff survey champions have been working closely with the executive and the senior management teams in their office or faculty, ensuring the survey results and feedback have been communicated with staff.

Survey data have been discussed at the local level and we are pleased to say ALL areas have submitted their action plans ready for tabling at the next Executive Group meeting.

Two organisation-wide projects focussing on career mobility and wellbeing to support staff across the University have been initiated with details to be communicated shortly.

Small things can make a big difference.

Improving opportunities for staff at Macquarie won’t finish with last year’s survey, but will be an ongoing process. We can each play a part in making our University an even better place to work.

What’s next?
