If you’re on campus on Tuesday or Thursday evenings, you may have noticed rugby players training on our sports fields. They are the Macquarie University Sydney Rays, a team now in their third season of the National Rugby Championships.
Fox Sports’ The Other Footy Show, hosted by Sean Maloney, will be shooting a segment on campus today with four Rays players, who will be performing challenges in a brand new, specially-made four-man jersey.
In attendance along with Maloney will be rugby greats George Gregan, Stephen Hoiles and Andrew Mehrtens.
The filming will start at 3.45pm at the University Oval, so come down to the fields if you’re on campus to meet the greats and cheer on the team.
The NRC season kicks off next Sunday 28 August at North Sydney Oval, where the Rays will take on the Western Sydney Rams.
