Contribute your research notes to upcoming art exhibition

The Macquarie University Art Gallery has an exciting new exhibition on the horizon – In the Field – that will feature a collection of research archival material to illustrate the processes of creation and discovery. This non-traditional exhibition will showcase the field work of some of our academics and focus on exploring the way many academics and artists continue to use pen and paper to put down their initial ideas/concepts.

The curators are asking Macquarie University researchers for contributions in the form of notes, scrawls, drawings, graphs, musical scores, and notations – almost anything that relates to developing a body of work/research inquiry.

They hope to collect all materials by 30 June in advance of the exhibition that will run from 22 July to 31 August 2016.

For more information, or to contribute, please contact Senior Curator Rhonda Davis (02 9850 7437, rhonda.davis@mq.edu.au) or Curator Leonard Janiszewski (02 9850 7437, leonard.janiszewski@mq.edu.au).
